It's a dog's world and we're just livin' in it. Am i right?

Who could ever deny those little fur faces looking at you all googly-eyed - like you're perpetually existing in a Superhero costume? We get it! Whether you're single, married, got lots of kids already, doggo's are part of the family . . . And not the ones who leave Lego's on the floor that maim you in the middle of the night! So we say, Have dog, will travel!

Like ACME, Chicago is Super dog friendly . . . And guess what, we've even done the four-legged legwork to give you an insider's peek at our favorite dog-friendly destinations! Take a gander at the list below of all the dog friendly spots to create long-lasting canine memories . . .

PARKS AND BEACHES

All the Parks. Yup, Millennium Park, Lincoln Park, Grant Park . . . all the major parks welcome your canine companions - a leash and poop bag are key accessories! If you've got a dog with a hankering for beach life, Montrose beach just may be his jam. It's all dogs, all the time and a great spot to mingle with the locals.

DOG PARKS

It's a concrete jungle out there, but there are places nearby for your doggo to roam free with trees, greenery, and the occasional squirrel! Check ‘em out!

Exhibit Park Dog Park

Located just a hop, trot and a jump from ACME, it's a great spot at the corner of Huron and Wells

Ohio Place Dog Park

Down the street at 360 W Ohio Street - Open 6a - 11p daily for that late night/early router Bowser!

Grant Bark Park

Hint, it's AT Grant Park and offers 18,000 square feet of fenced-in fun!

BOATING

If your pooch is the sporty adventurous type, check out Seadog! They've got architectural tours and thrill rides, and your dog rides FREE! Mercury also offers a chill day on the water for your little creature.

SHOPPING

Many River North retailers, and shops up and down the Mag Mile will welcome your pup, as long as they're not disruptive, or have a record for PETty theft. (Get it)? If you're shopping FOR your pooch, there's plenty for your pooch to love. One of our faves is just blocks away, called Tails in the City, and it is canine chic, for sure! From food to toys, harnesses, beds, blankets, and clothing . . . they've got it all.

DINING

Many downtown restaurants will welcome your Pup on their outdoor patios. In fact some have their very own Treat menu like Edie's in River North.
